1. Asteroid sample hurling towards Utah desert
- Nasa's Osiris-Rex capsule will dive into Earth on Sunday 15 times faster than a bullet.
- It will make a fireball in the sky but equipment will slow the descent and bring it into a gentle touchdown in Utah's West Desert.
- When the capsule is safely on the ground, it will be moved to the Johnson Space Center, where a cleanroom has been built to study the samples.

3. Chandrayaan-3: Indian space agency Isro says no signal yet from Moon lander
- India's space agency Isro says it is trying to contact its Moon lander and rover but has not received any signals.
- They spent two weeks gathering data, after which they were put into sleep mode at lunar nightfall.
- Isro hoped the batteries would recharge and reawaken when the Sun rose around 22 September. However, it is possible that the extreme cold of the lunar night damaged the batteries.

- Nasa's Osiris-Rex capsule will dive into Earth's atmosphere on Sunday at more than 15 times the speed of a rifle bullet.
- It will make a fireball in the sky but a heat shield and parachute will slow the descent and bring it into a gentle touchdown in Utah's West Desert.
- Once the capsule is safely on the ground, it will be whisked off to the Johnson Space Center, where a cleanroom has been built to analyse the samples.
