1. Inquiry as teen fatally shot by officer sitting behind him in car
- The US justice department will investigate the death of a Washington DC teenager who was shot by a police officer sitting behind him in a car.
- Dalaneo Martin, 17, was asleep in a parked, stolen SUV when officers opened the door on 18 March.
- Bodycam footage shows police stealthily entering the vehicle to make an arrest. The suspect, who was black, speeds away with an officer in the back seat.
- After telling him to stop, the officer opens fire on the teenager from behind.

2. FBI detains wrong man in mock raid at Boston hotel
- FBI agents carrying out a training exercise at a hotel in Boston broke into the wrong room and detained an innocent man.
- The FBI said it was assisting the Department of Defence in conducting a mock investigation on Tuesday night.
- But agents then stormed into the wrong room and handcuffed a man who had no clue as to what was happening.

3. Man murdered pregnant wife by pushing her off Arthur's Seat
- A man has been jailed for a minimum of 20 years for killing his pregnant wife by pushing her 50ft off a cliff edge at an Edinburgh beauty spot.
- Kashif Anwar, 29, killed 31-year-old Fawziyah Javed when she plunged from a rocky outcrop on Arthur's Seat during a holiday in September 2021.
- As she lay dying, Ms Javed, from Yorkshire, told a police officer her husband had pushed her.
- Anwar claimed he had slipped and bumped into his wife.
