1. Ukraine war: Russian Wagner video shows new brutal killing of 'traitor'
- Russia's Wagner mercenary group has released a video appearing to show the brutal killing of one of its soldiers who defected to the Ukrainians.
- The video shows the soldier giving his name and details of his recruitment, before a man hits him with a sledgehammer in a cellar.
- Wagner released a similar sledgehammer "execution" video three months ago.

2. More than 4,800 victims of sexual abuse uncovered in Portugal's Catholic Church
- An independent commission looking into the sexual abuse of minors in the Catholic Church said on Tuesday it had documented cases pointing to at least 4,815 victims.
- He paid tribute to the hundreds who contacted his staff to provide testimony.
- In all, the commission documented 564 experiences of people who said they had been victims of abuse by priests or other Church officials. The exercise looked at cases dating back to 1950.

3. Rise in space tourism, rocket launches pose a new threat to the ozone layer
- New research shows that increased space travel could undo efforts to repair the hole in the ozone layer.
- Although emissions from rocket launches are currently relatively small compared to other human activities, they could grow to rival emissions from the aviation industry in coming decades.
- The ozone is a protective layer of the atmosphere that sits 15 to 50km above the Earth's surface and absorbs almost all of the sun's UV light, which can be harmful to humans and wildlife.
