- An unnamed official earlier said that Sanderson died of self-inflicted injuries.

3. Ukraine war: US approves $2.6B in aid for Ukraine and allies
- The US has approved nearly $2.7 billion in new aid for Ukraine and allies, including $675 million in weapons for Ukraine as it battles Russia.
- The aid includes howitzers, munitions, Humvee vehicles, armoured ambulances and anti-tank systems.
- The US has already pledged at least $13 billion in military aid for Ukraine.
